The Maryland World Class Consortia launches its inaugural Mid-Atlantic Lean Conference the week of 5 November, 2012.

Conference attractions on Wednesday and Thursday, 7 and 8 November include:

Five keynote addresses by prominent lean authors and inspiring thought leaders
Thirty-two one-hour presentations by lean practitioners describing activities, results and lessons-learned - techniques you can apply in your organization
Dedicated presentation flights including lean government and education, lean IT and software development, and lean healthcare
Vendor displays and booths for nearly two dozen product and service providers across a wide range of lean and business areas
Tabletop displays detailing the lean journeys of local lean companies
Door prizes and a grand prize raffle

Optional events (available at additional fees) include:

Nearly a dozen full-day learning workshops will be offered on Monday and Tuesday, 5 and 6 November
Over a half-dozen half-day tours of local lean companies and attractions will be offered the morning of Friday, 9 November

The Crowne Plaza Hotel will be freshly renovated shortly before the conference kicks off. Rooms will be available at a special rate of $95 per night for conference attendees until 15 Oct, 2012.
